Day 01: Arrival at Baku
Arrive at the International airport of Baku- Start exploring the Baku airport, which is designed with meticulous care; the 3D effect and the geometric pattern are awe-inspiring – greet and meet our representative- Airport pick-up & transfer to the hotel – the journey from the airport, the crowded pathways as Baku has the most eclectic and vibrant nightlife, will mould your mind to enjoy the trip -Stay overnight in Baku.
Day 02 : Baku (City Tour and Fire Temple Ateshgah)
Breakfast at the hotel – Our program starts with visiting the “Old Town” or “Inner City”- we will cover the city’s central part, showing the most interesting architectural and historical sites. The architectural and historical monuments here in the 22 hectares, representing a small fraction of the total area of Baku (44,000 hectares), make Baku one of the most exciting places to explore. – Explore Maiden Tower (XII century), Palace of Shirvanshahs (XV century), Minaret Synyk Gala, Caravan Saray, Juma Mosque, and an excursion to Ateshgah. Ateshgah, the temple of fire worshippers and the State historical-architectural reserve, is located at the Apsheron peninsula on the outskirts of Surakhani village, exactly 30 km from the centre of Baku, and was admired at different times by Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs- Visit the pentagonal complex a place of pilgrimage for worshippers which has a temple-altar in the centre inside it with an open courtyard – Overnight in Baku (B)
Day 03 : Baku (Gobustan Rock Arts and Yanardagh)
Breakfast at the hotel – We will visit Gobustan, an excursion on the historical-art reserve where you will find rock paintings, ancient housing objects, and barrows. Nearby is the “Gaval Chalan” – original stone- tambourine, representing an ancient musical instrument described in Gobustan Rock Art. It is believed that the ritual dancers and ceremonies accompany the authentic rhythmic sounds that come out of it. Visiting “Gobustan” will take you to another world, the world of the last humankind and will allow you to feel the atmosphere of thousand – year history of this place. After an excursion to Yanar Dag, you can see here the natural phenomenon, the continuous burning of natural gas on the rock named the “Yanar Dag” reserve the burning rock. Historians say this place may have given the name “the fire country” to Azerbaijan – Overnight in Baku (B)
Day 04 : Depart from Baku
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for scheduled flights from Baku to home. (B)
